again there is a xenophobe poster. this time by the freedom pary’s youth organisation. this may encourage some readers who think this is a leftist blog :). but IMHO the racist election campaign conducted by HC Strache and his young friends is worth documenting.

    The offensivness of this poster is almost certainly over the heads of it’s creators.

    Beyond intended, coarsly alarmist xenophobia (I must say, put _politely_), the appropriation of North American Native plight, in support of a politic which would happily recreate it shows an ignorance,arrogance or insensetivity of stunning extent.

    No one expecting to be taken seriously in a political arena could get away with it here.

    Perhaps a more appropriate caption would read:
    “The Europeans didn’t stop their intolerance, bigotry and greed. They continue to have the blood of an entire nation on their hands.”

    Let me remind everyone: who was it that sailed to the “new world” and took over the land from the natives? EUROPEANS.

    It’s really ironic. that, plus 2 world wars, and more.

    You laugh… BUT ITS TRUE!

    Yesterday I was trading beaver furs with a Turkish guy and he asked me to sign some document I couldn’t understand. Turns out that by signing the document I actually sold him the ENTIRE 4th DISTRICT!

    He and his foreign friends then continued to rape our women and kill our men.

    Why would these foreign invaders come and plunder a peaceful civilization like Austria?

    We need to eliminate this alien threat, or risk annihilation.

    So you see, there is a direct correlation. Austrians – Indians, Apples – Apples, makes sense to me.
