wattles on a drunk persons’s way home
hydrants are nasty. everyone who walked home drunk around 10 am knows what I’m talking about. they appear out of nothing and jump right in your way when you least expect it. and it seems they specialise on drunk people as they are an easy prey.
on saturday morning I took a closer look at a new one in rasumovskygasse, that nearly got me into serious trouble. the engraving says: unauthorised extraction of water is theft.
is it possible that people drink to much just because they have to face so many hydrants and even more prohibition signs on every other corner on their way home?
