Easy Ride

typical relaxed african style … very amusing to the commuters at the floridsdorf bahnhof … and did seem like a practical and cheap alternative to carry tiny babies in when travelling, rather than hauling them around in cumbersome perambulators.

“typical relaxed african style” reads careless to me. That doesn’t look comfy at all for the kids, does it? Not that I’d advocate those monster-SUV-prams, but there has to be a better way to carry babies around.

I am a huge handsfree fan and found the bewegungsfreiheit while travelling, a nice feature for the moms. The baby seemed atleast to me to be in a snug cocoon.

Other than prams Ive only seen those dark blue strap seats (whatever they are called) you can tie to your front or back. They do seem safer but Ive seen a few chaffed baby thighs popping out and moms frequently rubbing under the straps.

I am not the user so I might be wrong.
