did you allready notice the new U3 prototype? it looks really nice, it is air conditioned and has one single car. but: it’s monitored. what you see on the picture is a camera. vienna’s mayor Michael H

    BTW. there are already talks between Wiener Linien and Police to make the cameras in the subway stations available to the Police. So only a matter of time until you are monitored …

    great post.

    basically the camera is useless shit. they can spend the money on other things, like cleaning up the stinkin subway at wien mitte. if the camera would be live, and metro staff would be in a room monitoring everything live, and do something against fuckedup stuff, then i would support it, because i was a victim of crime in the u6. but hey. its stored for 24 hours. porn? wtf?
