Long Night Of Museums

The Long Night of Museums is an ORF-sponsored event during which something like 80 museums in Vienna stay open late this coming Saturday, October 6th.

Here’s my question, since I have never been: is it fun? Is there wine?

    It’s the best! Be sure to make the Alt-Weiner Schnapsmuseum your first stop, where this is the only night they offer tours and tastings. Go ahead and pick up a bottle of Wiener-Blüt while you’re there. Schnaps made with chilies!

    If you are avoiding the obvious and therefor overcrowded places like MQ, KHM etc. it is quite fun.
