Yes Lady, I do mind
Obviously, people aren’t able to raise their kids properly anymore. At least it seems so according to the accumulation of bad experiences within the last months, weeks, days actually.
Let’s leave aside the fact that wherever you go there will be a baby and that baby is screaming. And let’s also leave aside the way parents push their prams as if they owned the right of way as well as the right to any place they insist on. Disregarding traffic, red lights or other people they use their perambulators like a battering ram. Which explains why they are built like SUV’s these days. Have you ever seen what happens if a mother with a pram wants to enter a bus and there are already two prams in there? If looks could kill… Yes Lady, I do mind being run over by you with your pram just because you are denying the obvious fact that there is no more place for me and the hundred other people in the bus (who were in there before you) to move to anymore.
But what really is at the core of this tirade is the fact that kids don’t seem to have any manners anymore.
Two days ago I wanted to get a softdrink from the big cooler in the supermarket and a probably eight year old pushes between me and the cooler with all his might. His mother is right next to us, looks at her kid pushing me, looks at me and then proceeds to get a bubbly, coloured drink for her son. Yes Lady, I do mind being punched in the groin.
Yesterday at the same supermarket another kid, probably a little older, takes out a baguette from the basket in front of the bakery desk, and throws it on the floor. These baguettes are only wapped halfway in a paper bag to provide the freshly baked atmosphere of the french way of living, I guess. The mother picks up the baguette, says to her son: “I don’t think we need any bread.” and puts the bread back into the basket! Yes Lady, I do mind eating food that has rolled around on the supermarket floor.
Now mind, all these incidents we are not talking about underclass or white trash mothers but well-groomed women around thirty who looked well-educated, well-dressed, financially well off and with a leftist background. Half way caring about socialist ideals but mostly about their families. The kind of Bobos that say: yes, I am all in favour of integration of foreigners, but I don’t want to have a turkish family living next door.
Pampered, spoilt, rich kids that don’t care about anything or anyone except their own private gain, use their elbows to kick at weaker people, egoistic want it alls with elitist attitudes. And their kid’s are even worse.

DAMN RIGHT! THATS WHAT I’M TALKIN BOUT!!!!!111!!!!!!!111!!!one!!1
I know your pain. Sometimes I could really kick some ass about this stuff..
