Museum for contraception and abortion
Today the museum for contraception and abortion opened in Vienna.

Controlling progeny has always been a major concern for people around the world throughout history. The possibilities as well as the viewpoints of this issue have multiplied over the last decades. The museum wants to document the history, the means and the ideas and drivers behind what has been done in the areas of contraception, abortion, gynealogy and births. Two journalists have started the idea around 2005 because of interest in the area and have collected and built an interesting and insightful little collection around contraception, pregnancy tests and abortion. The museum also offers a nice website and a thematic library.
You can find the musuem at the Mariahilfer Gürtel 37, on the 1st floor (1150 Vienna). Opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday 14:00 - 20:00.

The reason behind it is so that sometime in the not too distant future, people will be able to look back in disbelief and horror at a most barbaric practice.
@Bruce: exactly, and realize that it is the duty of any society to provide the information and means for intelligent family planning to its citizens as well as clean and healthy abortions to any woman who decides she needs it.
