Get wasted the traditional way
This weekend the X-mas markets all around Austria are opening up. Get you some nice hot Punsch, some Maroni to go along and waste some hard earned Marie on Ramsch. Hey, it’s christmas time!
The market on Spittelberg usually has to most Kunsthandwerk but is also always extremely crowded. If you want to take your family, then I’d recommend Schloss Schönbrunn for the Sissi-Feeling. In the last years the best Punsch was to be found on the Freyung, but any place in the first district is nice.
And one final advise: never ask the Standler what’s in the Punsch exactly…
my personal favorite one is near the mariahilferstrasse. i cant remember the name though. lots of delicious punsch and art-stuff.
