A dog’s life

Have you heard the current discussion / campaign about dog poo and who should be cleaning the streets - the city? the owners? the dogs?. The worst argument I was confronted with was “…but children produce dirt, too”. Anyway, as an aside to this discussion here is a shop owner who has found his own way to deal with the needs and urges of his dogs.

This reads: “Please don’t take your dogs into the shop. Our own dogs are defending their territory.” Sounds like nice and well trained dogs to me. Sounds like it makes shoppers with a fear of dogs really want to enter the shop. Sounds like one shop owner caring a lot about his customers, at least more than he does about himself (just take a look at his worker-friendly opening hours…). It’s a good thing I didn’t even catch what is being sold there.
