Vienna Ghost Town 006

This shop, now part of the Ghost Town series, could represent the end of the “American Dream” that (part of) Europe is actually experiencing.
It was an American style snack bar (and fast food) on Siebensterngasse.

that place has been flickering for years now. for a while someone seemed to have moved in, plastering the view to the street with brown paper in a makeshift construction. there was a gallery there once and some kind of trattoria, too. they all left rapidly. maybe it’s haunted.

Nirosta: That’s actually quite possible – I knew a guy who owned the place for some time – wanted to make a bar out of it. But 2 weeks after he moved in, his wife died.. spooky.
