Waiting for the Winter

Winter is arriving, and this freezing raven seeking for a shelter in one of the Gasometer windows seems to feel it.

Yeah, I’m a visiting art student from St. Louis, Missouri, USA. It gets cold in St. Louis, but not this cold, this early. This weather will add more sport to riding my bicycle to school. :)

Avoiding this kind of weather is why the US didn’t sign Kyoto. ;)

Hm, it’s a black crow actually, isn’t it? And I’ve heard the tale that winter is starting in Vienna as soon as the first black crows arrive in the city…

I’ve been flying through Vienna for a few years on my way to Moldova for Christmas and every year it’s absolutely freezing. Unfortunately it’s not much of a change for me because Cleveland is a snowy tundra for 5 months out of the year anyway.
