Pakistan earthquake - call for help

You probably read about it by now - Southeast Asia was hit by a major earthquake two days ago. It reached a strenth of around 7.5, and killed over 40.000 people only in Pakistan. Almost the same amount of people is injured, and hundreds of thousands have lost their homes. The brave Metroblog Lahore folks have been covering the desaster 24/7, with on-site reports, emergency information and more - some are even right where the quake struck, helping out as good as they can. Major props to you, folks, for keeping the world informed at a time like this.

Please, I know this isn’t the first natural desaster this year, but still, if you can, donate something to the victims. Various different organisations like UNICEF or Islamic Aidcurrently ask for support.

Thanks for putting the links here. The death toll has reached 40,000 and it’s feared to cross 60,000 as most of the mountainous areas are still unreachable.
