Save our country - close that toilet door!

Psychology teaches us that humans share a certain pool of primordial fears - fire, darkness, lightning and so one. And since life is all about overcoming fears by all means necessary, people have struggled to find solutions to their fears since the beginning of time.

In modern times, some other things made it on the list of base fears, one of the top entries being “Did I close the toilet door?”. Well, at least for some of us. And now, a brave group of people stepped forward and formed the group “Save Our Country - for more saftey in Austria’s toilets.“. Their contribution to society is a sticker with the text “Did you lock the door? ARE YOU SURE?”, strategically placed on the inside of public toilet doors across the city. They also demand a uniform marking of closed and open toilet-doors, complete with color coding, and they also have a petition you can sign.

As of right now, I’m unable to tell how much of all that is nonsense, and how much is genuine fear for the safety of toilet users. But I guess that doesn’t really matter. In closing, I’d like to thank the hip flask of vodka I just consumed for enabling me to write 3 paragraphs about this topic. Nastrovje!

this has nothing to do with overcoming your fears - actually it is more of a phobia INSTALLATION!
