Hey, I like the stencil in the lower right corner of your picture. ;) (Excuse me for not being able to contribute to your entry otherwise).

I’m sorry for my (our?) ignorance.
I don’t think the author of this wonderful Buchstabensuppe is really a proper left commie like us, but rather an underaged trendpunk. Maybe? Youth sucks, I gotta know, I’m part of it, I guess.

naw, the “meh” was for myself cause i HAD a full shot of the girl, but cropped and saved it afterwards. the MEH is for me being silly enough to overwrite original photos. :(
and hey, I AM PART OF THE YOUTH AS WELL!
at least id love to consider myself part of it.

thank you for pointing out that the “kein mensch ist illegal” slogan is, well, imbecile, or, let’s say meaningless. are there no better slogans to grasp the injustice that asylum seekers have to face?
absolutely no one here pointed out that there’s anything wrong with that slogan. what’s the problem with it anyway?
daniela (unregistered) on October 5th, 2005 @ 9:21 am
Nex, I pointed out that its not really intelligent to say that no human is illegal while asking people to KILL another human being.
i agree that NO HUMAN IS ILLEGAL in the correct sense of it. But i do not agree that killing people in the same second is correct. Youre either a good human being and accept others, or not. there is no middleway.
Of course i could write a embarassingly long entry about what is illegal and what not, and get bashed to hell becaue of it, but that was not point of the entry.
i guess people misunderstood what i was trying to say. evil me, shame on me.
so yep. thats the problem with the COMBINATION of the slogan and the STRACHE comment.

Definitely trendpunk shit. Some 15-year old heard both phrases, found them “cool”, or whatever the current term is, and sprayed them on a wall. The stencil looks great, though - there are some stencils like that one around the Stadtbahnb
karl (unregistered) on October 5th, 2005 @ 6:09 pm
maybe it means:
kill ‘kein mensch ist illegal’
strache & co [as a signature]
because the first phrase is written huge and the signatur small ;)
btw: why is the text on the right hand side (same sprayerhandwriting) cut off?
doesnt it fit to the other textinterpretation?

now that you say it… it could mean Kill kein mensch ist illegal.
but thats kinda.. weird.
i new banksy. someone posted about him before, i think. i could be wrong though.
i guess that means i am going there for the third time tomorrow and have another look at it. cant take a good picture of it, unless i decide to stand in the middle of dozens of crazy viennese car drivers on the g
no daniela, your post is alright, nothing to misunderstand there, no need to explain it again. i think my comment is also clear in the context of the precious one it refers to, so i won’t repeat or rephrase it; but in case this needs to be clarified: read “that slogan” as ‘just the “no human is illegal” part’.

don’t worry about the alternate meaning suggested above. as a joke, it’s quite neat and creative, but the text doesn’t look like this could really be the intended meaning. but the whole thing is pretty meaningless anyway, so enough of that.
damn that hd clone is taking forever and i can’t do anything serious, just barely browse the web. someone post more silly shit!
