Picknick #1

So yesterday it happened the first time – The roadside picnic.
And it was good. This location is really unbelieveable. It was the first time in Vienna that I thought – YEAHHH! This event gives me the feeling of something international. Was really cool. – All this concerts and dj-lines on this fallow land, white ballast, bushes here and there, children playing, people sitting aound, listening to the music, talking. Yes, it was a good feeling to be there. No stress, no agression anywhere, relaxed people, warm weather, nice sound and this great scene. Here the high-rise office buildings, there the stage and the speakertowers, the artists, the dust and lots of space, the sound, the visuals & drinks & food & dancing people.
Good place to be.

yah was a great evening! unbelievable site!

yesterday, i passed the area from a bike trip back home, it was about 6 pm and there was a strange performance going on. about 10 people in yellow worksuits lay around or stood just there, moving very slow. slower than slow. slower than slow motion. there were almost no spectators, some of them on the veranda on top, which is painted all white. i sat there and felt like to be in the middle of a kubrick remake.

That’s it. The producer of the roadside picnic refer to the Strugatzkis book from 1976 (UdSSR), on the flyer they use – somehow like a slogan – the citat: “Gl
