Wien as a tourist 001

steffl 1.jpg Sometimes if people are visiting you, you get the possibility to experience Vienna like a tourist. Now that I have my nearly 10 year old nephew Jacob for a few days, I am around for sight seeing.
So we went to Stephansdom - Jacob likes now cathedrals & huge buildings. First we climbed the tower on the right hand side (entry for adults 3

    It should read “The Stephansdom WAS the highest building in town”. With 136,44 meters (southern tower) it was soon overdone by the Donauturm (with 252 meters still the highest building in town). The highest of the latest craze of tower-blocs for offices and flats by the way is the Milleniumtower with 202 meters.
