has a bicycle trip ever opened your eyes? changed a point of view? no? than look at this picture. it’s the kind of pic that can only be taken on bike trips. I learned about this bike path when I lived outside the city and went to school in vienna’s 17th district some years ago. back in these days I took the challenge of making the 30 kilometers way to school by bike faster than by public transport. I succeeded instantly. last week I did a very similar trip again after some years. without all the hurry you see things a bit differently. I thought, perhaps some of you will take the chance to sit back back in your chair (as I did in the grass) and think about how urban this very city is at all.
