Prater, yesterday (including Gastro 007)

Yesterday we went to the Prater, a 2.6 mile amusement park. The Prater is Vienna’s most popular fun fair. It’s kitsch & eurodance heaven.
First we ate two entire legs of pig at the Schweizerhaus (Swiss beer garden).

Our bodies were mainly occupied with digesting long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid, but we did some rides and visited some show programs.
Here are two show recommendations:
First of all, they updated the “Jack the Ripper” horror house. The cheesyness factor is unbearable.

(”Hell new”)
Then we spotted “Sensorium”, a new show tent on the space where “Imperator” used to upset Prater visitors.
This 11 minute laser/dry ice/video/soap bubble/water fountain/esoteric/tech blahblah sense-o-rama-to-end-all-sense-o-ramas is really a fuckin’ hammer. Pay the 4 euros they want to have. I’m not sure if it’s worth 4 euros, but… Jesus… it’s so hyper-1980ies, it will collapse your central nervous system and spit out love to nature, peace and harmony in no time.

Bless ya.

boy, how can you eat something like that and then go on a ride?
if i would do that, all of the food added with some stomache juice would be all over the place.
