Urban Art 013 // Kinder-Tag tut Wahrheit kund?

Urban art by some anonymous children, painted on a wall near train station Wien Nord/Praterstern as part of a school project. The children’s mission was to describe “Vienna”.
The basic topics are correct:
Vienna…
- music in the air
- yellow lightning
- “Hello”
- fucking giant lizards
- expressionistic architecture
- the words “Greetings to the Lord” coming out of an elephant’s ass (grey bubble on the far left)
Vienna, Vienna!

one day i’ll have to send you metblog guys a writeup on the typical austrian greeting “grüß gott”, but now i only have time to say this: it doesn’t mean ‘greetings to the lord’, not even approximately. it means: ‘may god bless you’. this is why there also are the forms ‘grüß dich’ (’bless you’) and ‘grüß sie gott’ (again ‘may god bless you’, just slightly less abbreviated).
