Hundertwasser – The Musical

It really happened: Konstantin Wecker (german songwriter and singer, famous for his anti-establishment-kitsch) has written a musical in memory of the Viennese artist and architect (?) Friedensreich Hundertwasser (originally Stowasser, he died 3 years ago). The musical was produced by the German city of Ülzen because Hundertwasser built a trainstation there shortly before he died. In Vienna You can visit the famous Hundertwasser-Haus in the 3rd district – a kind of eco-experiment. A propos eco: Hundertwasser also built petrol stations and the Viennese waste combustion. Well, not that much eco then …
I personally do not like his buildings with this enforced happy-style and besides that I don’t like the style of the Hundertwasser-Industry. But a musical: That’s daring!!! Don’t miss the intro: http://www.hundertwassermusical.info
